Square Go

On Tuesday 8th October a small select group of GCSE Drama students went to The North Wall Theatre to see the award winning ‘Square Go’, it was hilarious, poignant and very, very colourful!
We meet Max and his mate Stevie, two thirteen year old boys hiding in the school ‘bogs’ just before the bell for the end of the day – when Max has got to step up for his ‘Square Go’ (a fight, scrap, ruck) at the school gates with the never actually seen, Danny Guthrie!! However, before he can wrestle the school bully, he must first wrestle his own demons. With the help of his weird wee pal Stevie he goes on a journey of self-discovery before learning there are some fears you just have to face and growing up is one of them!

Look out for up and coming trips and events; House Drama – 7th November. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (West End Theatre Trip – KS4) 4th December. Plus a KS3 Theatre Trip TBC
