Parents

Regular and helpful parental contact is key in a student’s development.

Parents receive regular information from the Academy about their child’s progress with a detailed assessment check termly (six times a year) and a full parents' consultation evening meeting with all subject teachers annually.

Parents of Year 7 students are invited to attend a normal morning’s school, to sit in classrooms and experience the Academy as students do. Additionally, there are special shared learning projects to ensure that parents feel fully involved.

We welcome contact over any issues which are of concern to parents; this way we can work together to get the best for each child. Please contact your son or daughter’s Head of House for help in any matter.
