Year 13 have begun to work on applications as part of their careers programme. For some, this meant an Assessment Centre Day on 25 and 26 September.
Supported by local business people from the RSA and staff in school, students took part in group tasks, individual interviews, presentations, inbox activities and so on. They enjoyed their first day, and responded well to the challenges presented.
On the morning of the second day, students received personal feedback on their performances, with advice on what employers would expect from them. As university and apprenticeship applications, and applications for competitive paid internships, loom, this was a day students benefited from very much indeed.
